Low pricedSUVv cars in India are becoming more and more popular throughout a recent couple of years. With new contenders like Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza joining the fleeting trend. From hatchback center point, our automotive industry has gradually proceeded towards bigger and better SUVs that offer great space, and features and above all are they are offered at an attractive cost. Since 2015 SUV market has seen a steady rise in the segment with new participants joining the segment too. We present to you a rundown of the well-known low priced suv cars in india under ₹ 14 Lakh.
1. Mahindra KUV100 ₹ 4.98 – 8.19 L (ex-showroom, Delhi)
KUV is the micro SUV of Mahindra’s SUV family. Has an aggressive looking front and overall a sporty design. The interior is spacious and not at all cramped as it looks from the small design and has safety features like dual airbags, ABS & EBD. Powered by 3 cylinders 1.2l engine which feel refined and smooth. Mahindra claims fuel efficiency of 18.15kmpl and 25.3kmpl for petrol and diesel variant respectively.
2. Ford EcoSport facelift ₹ 7.51 – 12.51 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Ford has update EcoSport model with some visual changes and updated engine performance. It has a powerful engine now, 98.6bhp @3750rpm and a torque of 20.9kgm @1750-3250rpm. Ford claims a mileage of 22.27kmpl. Like the previous EcoSport, it has the same spacious cabin. It also has dual airbags and climate control in selected models.
3. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza ₹ 8.08 – 11.09 L (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Maruti Suzuki has entered SUV market with its sub-compact SUV Vitara Brezza. Design inspiration is taken from its larger sibling, Suzuki Vitara. The dashboard is simple, straightforward and smart with good seats and plenty of leg and headroom. Under the hood Brezza packs 1.3l DDIS engine producing 89bhp @4000rpm and 20.4kgm of torque @1750rpm.

4. Mahindra NuvoSport ₹ 8.34 – 11.08 L (ex-showroom, Delhi)
NuvoSport is yet another compact SUV from Mahindra. It looks stunning with its large front bumpers, vertically slotted grillee, and headlamps with led brows. The scoop in the bonnet looks muscular and it feeds air into the top mounted intercooler. On the inside of the car, it looks more like a Quanto with a large touchscreen multimedia console. It comes with the 1.5l mHawk, 100bhp power and 240nm torque.
5. Mahindra TUV300 ₹ 8.37 – 11.01 L (ex-showroom, Delhi)
TUV’s grille styling and chunky design will remind you of the latest generation of the Jeeps. It looks good and is surely going to grab attention on the streets. Has good and comfortable seating and luggage space too. The center console looks appealing with a nice black look. It is powered by 1.5l mHawk engine producing 84bhp of power and 23.4kgm of torque.
6. Renault Duster facelifted ₹ 9.55 – 16.1 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The new facelifted duster gets a revised styling, revamped cabin, and even AMT gearbox. The vehicle gets detailing in the headlight and the grille gets a twin slab design. The roof rail and the mirror with turn indicators gives a sporty look to it. The interiors are jazzed up as well with dark chocolate brown colored dash and chrome detailing and highlights. The center console gets glossy black plastic as well. 1.6l petrol engine produces 102bhp power while the 1.5l diesel produces 84bhp.
7. Mahindra Scorpio ₹ 9.8 – 18.18 L (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Mahindra Scorpio has a lot of fan followers since its first launch and is considered a true blue SUV. The latest Scorpio looks ready to take on its competition with its stunning looks and performance.
