Good news for WhatsApp users, WhatsApp latest update features sharing of any file and document format. WhatsApp recently released the latest version 2.17.251 with which you can share multiple file formats like apk, zip, rar, along with document formats like sv, doc, docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, xls, xlsx. To send a file all you need to do is to open a chat, tap attach and tap on document and select the file that you want to send. But the file size has been restricted to 100MB and 128MB for Android and iOS platform respectively.
Users can now swipe up from the in app camera to see all the photos and videos and can send them. You can now share more than 10 pictures at once. In case if users are sending lots of photos at once, they’ll now be grouped into a gallery that only displays five images and the last thumbnail showing how many additional photos have been sent. In addition to this, WhatsApp will also stop photo compression so no more loss in detail of the pictures.
Also, no more using * ~ _to change font style of the text. You can now change the font style by long clicking on the text and select which part of the text to change the font of and choose bold, italics and strikethrough.
You can also search for emoji with the emoji search and quickly find the right emoji. Just tap on the emoji icon in chat and tap on the search icon and type what you need.
Apart from all these features, there are some design improvements for the voice and video call. It now looks more modern and cool.
